Piktochart is a great way to engage those visual leaners out there with fun graphic information that grabs their attention and draws them in. This free app is available at the Apple iTunes store appsto.re/us/-f7f3.i. Not only is this a valuable app to use to get your lessons across, but when we can share them with other teachers we can create a network of easy to understand new material. I love infographics and I believe that that love came from a teacher who used apps like Piktochart and Power Point to help us make infographics. Her thought was that through the process of creating these images we had to do the research enough to learn about it, so we were learning through teaching. While this may see like a daunting task, that only graphic designers could complete, it's actually really easy. I used the basic education template on the app to start and watched this short helpful video before getting started. I didn't find anything lacking or anything that I wish I could have done that wasn't available. There were so many formatting options and helpful graphics to get you started. Not only did this make making the graphic easier, but provided some inspiration for those who might not know where to start. I made my infographic on leadership because it's not only something I will use in my classroom, but I found it inspiring myself. Below you can find my infographic. I kept mine simple so it didn't get to "busy" and was easy to follow. Speaking of follow, follow my Pinterest page to find this infographic and more! www.pinterest.com/pin/42784265193358331/
