I chose to do my notecard confession over Corey Flournoy. I accessed this information at www.blackpast.org/aah/flournoy-corey-d-1974. He was the first African American FFA National President. His story can be inspirational to all students especially in FFA. When students in agricultural education join their freshmen year there is a contest they can compete in called "quiz bowl" where they are tested on a series of FFA history questions. Mr. Flournoy is one of the important people to remember for these tests. Hopefully this video can inspire them and open student's eyes to why these events in our past are important. To make this video possible I used the built in camera on my iPad and uploaded it to Youtube app. This was easy and a great way to use a trending story telling form to relate to your students. I personally chose to write out my cards but there are plenty of notecard apps out there that you could use to do the same with.
